Typographic Book
Bringing Art to Life is a 56 page book focused on pushing what can be done with typography, layouts, and color. Playful illustrations by me were also added as another element for the type to interact with.
Text in book is excerpts from Design as Art by Bruno Munari and 78 Short Essays on Design by Michael Bierut.
In my book, I aim to create an engaging, visually interesting reader experience. I aim to create a design that also supports and enhances the text without distracting from it. I would like to experiment with type and see what can be done with it to create interesting typographic compositions and shapes.
